Italian Bolognese Blend No.14 – A sauce that needs no introduction, we’re all familiar with it. So why would we offer this blend when it’s so easily purchased? Good question but the answer is very simple, ours is made with just spices and herbs, no additives no caking agents just flavour. It’s been widely published about a certain famous jar containing 10 teaspoons of sugar and we all know that salt is used heavily to balance out the flavour to stop it tasting too sweet. Packet mixes are just that full of additives and anti caking agents which you just don’t need. It’s just madness, if you use a good blend such as ours and add some chopped vegetables and tinned tomatoes you’ll end up with a sauce that does not only taste better it will be far healthier. A good Bolognese is so simple to make we just had to perfect a blend for you to use that’s quick and easy. As always ours can also be used as a rub as it’s just herbs and spices. Use it with salmon which works well with the Bolognese herbs and tomato undertones.
