
Blend No.12 Ras El Hanout - Common in North Africa, it features heavily in Moroccan cuisine. There is no definitive list of ingredients that make up this spice but there are some commonly used spices that appear more often than not. Our blend has been developed over time so that we could use it as both a BBQ rub and to cook tasty dishes. The BBQ rub works well with a wide variety of meats, fish and vegetarian meat substitutes and we would encourage you to experiment. As with many highly flavoured mixes it is best accompanied with plain side dishes such as couscous or rice and we have also found a fresh squeeze of lemon juice really lifts the dish. For a meal we have created a recipe that works with the strong flavours to create a hearty stew that can be created quickly and easily. Serve with your favourite flat bread.
