Stauffenberg Aged Gin

Tasting Notes Stauffenberg AGED GIN Color: Warm, lustrous amber – a result of three months of maturation in a mulberry barrel – first use. Nose: Complex and inviting. Notes of cinnamon, clove and coriander seeds combine with juniper and fine licorice. Candied citrus fruits meet vanilla, caramel and a hint of cocoa – carried by the subtle influence of the barrel. Palate: Full-bodied and creamy with depth. Initially, soft wood tones and sweet spices dominate. –Vanilla and roasted aromas initially remind one of a mature bourbon. The fresh citrus note returns in the aftertaste, providing balance and tension. Finish: Long and elegant. Spicy, citrusy and with a subtle hint of mulberry.
