Blood Orange Liqueur

the liqueur was created with the best Sicilian blood oranges of the Moro variety. The organic fruits have been harvested in the orchards of San Giorgio in Sicily during the winter months. The zest is then carefully peeled off and macerated for several weeks in controlled organic alcohol of agricultural origin - a highly aromatic spirit is then distilled from the macerate. The spirit is diluted to drinking strength with the juice of the blood oranges and then mixed with the minimum amount of invert sugar prescribed for liqueurs. The result has more than convinced us and has given the palate a special treat ever since. Its fruity taste is not hidden behind its colour.
