““Steph s’en mêle” is much more than a brand: it is the story of a passion for sewing from the age of eight and for linen, a commitment to French craftsmanship and a desire to transform small gestures into great actions for the planet. Each accessory, sewn with love, carries within it a piece of Stéphanie’s history and her commitment to an eco-responsible lifestyle.
The origins: An awareness and a dream
Stephanie, forty years old, dynamic and overflowing with ideas, has always loved creating with her hands. But it was when she discovered linen at the age of 14 that she set her sights on this beautiful material. In 2023, she had a brainwave: why not promote this ecological, natural and timeless material, while helping to revive local crafts?
With “Steph s’en mêle”, she decides to mix (no pun intended, well almost!)creativity, sustainability and style to offer accessories that combine beauty, ethics and practicality. All handmade in France.
A committed brand
1. The choice of French linen
• Grown without irrigation and almost without pesticides, linen is the most ecological fiber in Europe. France is the world's leading producer of flax.
•Stéphanie works exclusively with French linen, sourced from a family business to support traditional know-how.
2. A timeless, artisanal design
• Each accessory is designed and sewn in his workshop with care: refined and elegant travel bag, backpack, tote bag, toiletry bag.
•The creations combine simplicity and functionality, with that little detail, like single-thread embroidery for a first name or a sweet word.
3. A zero waste approach
• Linen scraps are recovered to create small objects (key rings, reusable wipes).
•Each product is designed to last and stand the test of time.
4. Responsible packaging
• The accessories are delivered in recycled kraft packaging.
A simple and authentic narrative universe
Stephanie speaks directly to her clients as she would speak to friends: with sincerity and lightness.
“My linen is not perfect, and neither am I. But that’s exactly what makes each creation unique: a little bit of me, a little bit of you, and a lot of love for the planet.”
Each accessory has its own little story:
• This beach bag? Inspired by an afternoon spent picking up pebbles on the French Riviera.
•This minimalist kit? Designed to prevent total chaos in a handbag.
A strong connection with the community
“Steph s’en mêle” is not limited to selling accessories: it is an invitation to join a movement.

The duffel bag that had a thousand lives
Once upon a time there was a linen duffel bag, imagined one Sunday morning in Stephanie’s workshop. Made from a piece of natural, undyed linen, this duffel bag dreamed of traveling, of discovering France for a weekend or even a week.
One day, it was adopted by a customer who first used it as a bag for her romantic weekends. Then it became a wedding bag for her wedding, a diaper bag for her baby, and finally a travel bag for her friends. Because at Steph s’en mêle, we believe in the power of accessories that last and reinvent themselves.
