Hong Yu Jade GABA Red (Black) Tea (also known as Red Jade or Ruby Red) is an internationally recognized premium red tea. 

It is one of the most unique and highest quality red teas in the world, grown and processed from the TRES #18 cultivar. 

The particular processing requires that the leaves, right after harvesting, are left to rest in an environment enriched with nitrogen and deprived of oxygen, to stimulate the production of the amino acid GABA, of which the product is very rich. 

The subsequent processing steps then follow the red tea production process: the leaves are rolled up, left to oxidize completely and finally dried.
