Native to South-Eastern Australia, Eucalyptus parvifolia is a small tree that can reach 9 metres in height. Its shape is tortuous and remarkable to look at. From 500 species recorded in the genus Eucalyptus in the 1960s, the figures now indicate more than 800 species, all originating from the Australian continent. While they have very varied sizes, blooms, barks, and shapes from one species to another, Eucalyptus are characterized by leaves covered with oil glands. They are also among the largest trees in the world, with some species reaching over 90 metres in height, as are Sequoiadendron giganteum and Pseudotsuga menziesii.
