The thermometer calibrator designed to simulate a chosen temperature, making it simple and quick to test or recalibrate standard K, J or T thermocouple thermometers, without the need for additional specialist equipment or conversion tables. The MicroCal 2 features a custom 10mm LCD display with an alphanumeric display line to notify the user when changing settings. Selectable settings include; °C/°F, auto power off - enable/disable, CJC - internal/external contrast and display adjustment. The MicroCal 2 Calibrator Simulator has 12 preset temperatures for the Type K thermocouple -20, -10, 0, 10, 30, 50, 100, 195, 250, 500, 800 and 1000°C, each of these temperatures can be modified and saved by the user. Factory default temperatures can be recalled at any time. Each MicroCal is supplied with a one meter PVC cable with a miniature thermocouple connector and a five-point UKAS calibration certificate. Each certificate indicates the deviations from the standards at the various points.
