Gaia Wines Notios Red 2020

This is a wine straight from Greece! This Notios red wine produced by Gaia Wines is made from a blend of 85% Agiorgitiko and 15% Syrah. This local wine from the Peloponnese honors the native grape variety, Agiorgitiko. This red displays a pretty robe of translucent garnet. Before tasting this wine, we strongly recommend that you aerate it. After aerating it, you discover a fine and delicate nose focused on floral, fruity and spicy aromas. Its dense flesh is accompanied by slightly biting tannins. The whole is greedy, fresh and balanced. The finish reveals a chalky substance underlined by fruity nuances (black cherry) and completed by notes of cocoa and a particular persistence on spices. You can combine this red with moussaka, bolognese lasagna or even stuffed tomatoes. Alcohol content: 13%.
