Marques de Riscal 1860 Tempranillo 2020

Made from a gourmet blend of Tempranillo, Syrah and Merlot, Marquès de Riscal Tempranillo is a Spanish red wine with a cherry-red color and marked with a few purple highlights. Through its great aromatic intensity, it releases notes of jammy red fruits, chocolate, black pepper, roasted cocoa, smoke and oak. Its fresh and fruity attack releases "tannic" nuances caused by the wood of the barrels. Its moderate acidity extends into a long and very pleasant finish. This cuvée from the Rioja appellation is aged for 6 months in American oak barrels, 50% of which are new barrels and 50% of two-wine barrels.
