We are VU wooden toys

We have been making wooden toys for children in our small factory at the foot of the Bavarian Alps since 2018. Inspired by the work of the Austro-Hungarian pedagogue Emmi Pikler, we have developed a range of versatile products that are not only a lot of Fun for children, but also accompany and promote them in their development: body awareness, motor skills, self-confidence & imagination - the VU- Climbing equipment trains characteristics and skills that need to be brought back to the fore in an increasingly digitized world. Learning while playing - our entire range is designed according to this principle.


100% handmade from Germany

We make our wooden toys ourselves - from the raw material to the finished, packaged item in a box. Every step of the process is carried out by hand in our on-site workshop with great care. Of course, we also have our products tested for safety and compliance with standards by a German institute; Quality and safety are top priorities. That's why we don't send kits, but ready-assembled toys that can be used directly.


sustainability

When selecting the raw materials used in our production, we pay great attention to environmental compatibility and sustainability in addition to quality. We obtain FSC-certified wood from local dealers, work together with small businesses in the region and we also buy other materials - from the screw to the glue to the shipping box - under these aspects exclusively Made in Germany. When it comes to shipping and packaging, we try to use as little plastic as possible and through our cooperation with the green dot we want to contribute to the responsible use of recyclable raw materials.
After all, what good is a healthy development for our children if we don't leave them a healthy world to live in?
