Who we are and why we do it
Anna has been working as a stylist in the still life area since 2011, and as a set stylist for food shoots since 2016. John has been a photographer since 2010, food photographer since 2014. We started this project in January 2018. In the freezing cold of January, we put the first vegetables in the frame - savoy cabbage, leek, kale and parsnips. A simple occasion to meet regularly for this and other projects in the studio in Berlin-Neukölln has turned the seasonal calendar, a project close to my heart. The anger about plastic packaging and apples from South Africa has turned into a guide for more sustainable consumption. Now it appears printed and bound in our own online shop. We wanted to do everything ourselves from start to finish. Nevertheless, there were important people by our side whom we want to thank. Daniel Behrens for the beautiful design, Sebastian Meissner for the support with the text and trigger. Media for printing on 100% recycled paper, climate-neutral printed in Berlin-Tempelhof.
