Cognac Decroix A cognac that respects the beauty and magic of life.     It is thanks to the high standards, independence and unique character of Cognac Decroix that the spirit of Vivant has developed. 

He is the model, the matrix, the DNA, the firstborn.     ORGANIC AGRICULTURE A terroir: Saint-Laurent-des-Combes (Charente), in the Montmorélien hillsides, landscape of chalky limestone hills from the Upper Cretaceous (Bons Bois Appellation).     A man: Jean-François Decroix, organic farmer and winemaker since 1979.     A farm where cognac is part of a global and autonomous vision. 

Cereals, lentils, nuts, fruits, truffles and grapes: polyculture is at the center of the system.     Vines grown without fertilizers or pesticides, thanks to intermediate crops and constant care given to the life of the soil.     Vinification is carried out using native yeasts. 

The wine is distilled using the Charente method. 

The eau-de-vie is aged between 8 and 15 years in French oak barrels.     The blend, avoiding any addition of sugar, seeks to highlight the flavors of a “natural” product, made from 100% grapes and expressing the identity of its terroir.     VSOP Cognac has four years of aging.   Cognac XO is composed of eaux-de-vie that are at least ten years old.     Each has its own qualities, its complexity, its freshness, its own character.   Which one will suit your taste?
