In an elegant and refillable grinder, Kampot red pepper offers us its warm, almost sweet notes. It goes very well with strong meats and even with desserts, in a vanilla cream for example. Kampot red pepper, like its brothers black pepper and white pepper, is grown in Cambodia. It is picked by hand, the pickers leaving the beans still a little yellow to pick only the beans that have reached full maturity. It is unlike any other red pepper, with its notes of fruit and almost caramelized sugar. Kampot pepper is the first pepper to have obtained a Protected Geographical Indication recognized by Europe, which certifies cultivation without chemical fertilizers.
