The Pietra Brewery has discovered a wild yeast from chestnut flowers with ideal organoleptic qualities for developing an Abbey-style beer. This magnificent strain of yeast, exclusively bred for the Pietra Brewery, has made it possible to develop Pietra Salvaticus, an Abbey-style blond beer which is fully rooted in the Corsican terroir. This unfiltered ale develops a nose characteristic of this style of beer: spicy fruit, with notes of cloves, cereals and alcohol. In the mouth, it is round and delicious. Its notes of cereals and spices are balanced and its lovely bitterness supports the sensation of alcohol.
