Toiteach A Dhà (pronounced Toch-ach ah-ghaa, meaning “two smoked” in Scottish Gaelic) is a sweet and intense single malt that marries subtle coastal flavors with warm, spicy notes with a hint of smoke. Its aging in bourbon and sherry casks releases very specific notes of citrus fruits and pepper for a powerful mouthfeel. PEAT 40 PPM The name Bunnahabhain, which means "mouth of the river", refers to the Margadale River whose spring water is used during distillation. Established in 1881, the Bunnahabhain Distillery is built near the Margadale River in the northeast of the island of Islay. It is the only distillery on the island to use natural spring water without the influence of peat. It also has the largest stills in Islay from which it produces a light, aromatic and complex alcohol.
