Very old Fine de Bourgogne - Peated Islay Bourbon Cask - Very limited edition - Hand numbered bottles - Steam distillation - Vintage 2013 - 9 years old Brandy made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wine lees. 100% Burgundy origin. 9 years of aging in small Burgundy oak barrels. Edition 2nd Fill Peated Islay Bourbon Cask Finish. Hand-laid wax cap, red color. Light nose of peat and dark chocolate with notes of pear, tarragon, green curry, cigar and peppermint developing on vanilla and long pepper. Intensely peaty on the palate with notes of grilled almond, pear and citrus fruit evolving into an ashy note. Long and persistent finish with smoky, peaty and fruity notes.
