Amber | 50 cl To be appreciated at its true value, this batch n°003 requires good oxygenation before tasting. Nose: - An initial nose of delicately caramelized apples - At the edge of the glass, cereals accompanied by a strong woodiness with some notes of vanilla - In the glass, apples and pears followed by greenery accentuated with hints of leather. On the palate: - The attack is quite frank and powerful with notes of cereals. These flavors in the mouth give way to fruity notes. -Notes of ripe apple and pear then come to completely coat the mouth they are accompanied by light touches of vanilla and caramel. -The finish begins with a very frank woody note where spices such as pepper and cloves mingle to finish with a cereal accompanied by silky pastry notes. Technique: - A first aging in new French oak barrels following a medium or light toast (depending on the barrel). -Maturation in French reused casks, with blending in the following ratios: 61% Cognac 20% Banyuls 19% Pineau des Charentes Overall description: An elegant and delicate whisky with cereal and delicately woody notes. The aromas of apples and pears in the mouth are followed by touches of leather to finish on a finale of a roundness between fruity and cereals.
