ASSEMBLAGE whiskies are the fruit of the collaboration between Aymeric, oenologist, father of French whiskies A. Roborel de Climens, and the Nadé brothers, founders of Maison Mounicq, specializing in the production of spirits made from grapes such as Nadé Vodka, Avem Gins and Fine Ô Chartrons. The people of Bordeaux have combined their expertise to create a selection of whiskies imbued with their shared passion: vines. For this edition, the two brothers, inspired by their wine-growing roots, selected and then blended two barrels of Alsatian whiskies. A Whiskey matured in an old Merlot barrel from Clos Manou and a Peated Whiskey at 40 PPM. This new alliance gives birth to Whisky ASSEMBLAGE Collection n°4. On the palate, the tasting unfolds in two distinct phases. First, a generous sweetness manifests itself with gourmet and candied notes, the fruit of 42 months of maturing in Médoc barrels. Then, grilled and slightly smoky flavors bring a harmonious intensity. The finish is long, marked by vinous and toasted touches, offering a tasting that is both complex and delicious. Tasting advice To be enjoyed pure, at room temperature, to fully appreciate its aromas. You can also add a few drops of pure water to soften and open up its flavors further. HAS As an aperitif, whisky collection n°4 goes perfectly with cold meats. For the end of the meal, accompany it with cheese and figs. If you prefer something sweet, a chocolate dessert will balance out the peaty side of the whisky, as long as it is not too bitter. Finally, for more originality, its powerful but measured peat goes perfectly with foie gras. French Whisky | Collection N°4 | Peated | 50cl | 44.1°
