ASSEMBLY Collection N°1.03 | French Whiskey | Single Malt | 50 cl | 50.2°

Collection No. 1.03: 803 numbered bottles, a new production, new barrels with the same grape varieties, the same Bordeaux châteaux, the same sought-after aromatic profile with the subtleties of the new selected barrels.    Following the excellent feedback on the aromatic profile of WHISKEY BLEND Collection N°1, we wanted to keep this recipe by selecting 3 new barrels containing Sémillon, Merlot and Sauvignon, and thus offer you Collection N°1.03 in a limited edition of 803 bottles.   This French single malt is now available.    History The ASSEMBLAGE whiskey is the result of the collaboration between Aymeric oenologist, father of French whiskeys A.   Roborel de Climens, and Cedrik founder of Maison Mounicq specializing in the production of spirits made from grapes: Nadé Vodka and Avem Gins. The two Bordeaux residents have combined their know-how to create a whiskey imbued with their shared passion for the vine. Aymeric selected the best eaux-de-vie from the Hepp Artisanal Distillery, then refined them in wine barrels from Bordeaux Châteaux. Cedrik, after having selected three of them, was inspired, once again, by his roots as a winemaker in order to combine them perfectly as one would blend a wine.    Flavor profile - Despite its alcohol content of 50.2%, this whiskey is, paradoxically, very delicate and round like the other creations of Maison Mounicq. -The 3 years of aging in French wood give ASSEMBLAGE aromas of flambéed bananas and ripe fruit in the mid-palate, finishing with delicate, persistent bitter citrus fruits.   On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of candied fruits, vanilla and cocoa. -Refining in old Bordeaux wine barrels allows ASSEMBLAGE to reveal the subtle flavors of the different grape varieties: - Merlot gives it notes of red berries, prunes, undergrowth and spices, while Sémillon gives it nuances of hazelnut, acacia flowers and honey.   As for Sauvignon, it brings freshness and slight touches of bitterness.
Their union provides a beautiful color and great complexity to the BLENDED whisky.    French Whiskey | Collection No. 1.03 | Single malt | 803 bottles | 50cl | 50.2°
