Godet Frère Cognac - La Sauzaie Single Malt Whiskey

A 100% French vintage: the barley is grown in France, the malting takes place in a local malt house, distillation and aging take place in La Rochelle. The distillation is done in a Charentais still, and for good reason Godet is historically a producer of Cognac. This type of still is a product purely Charentais which was developed and manufactured in the Cognac region. The Charentais still is the essential element for making Cognac but also spirits without impurities. Aging takes place successively in American oak barrels, Port, and Cognac.
