Barbaresco Riserva Basarin Adriano

Barbaresco "Basarin" by Adriano Marco and Vittorio is a Piedmontese red with a marked territorial imprint. A candid image of the famous original cru, Basarin, the only family-owned vineyard located in the municipality of Neive. A terroir recognized for the production of softer and more immediate wines, thanks to altitudes of up to 350 meters, soils rich in tuffaceous gray marls and significant aeration from the Tinella river. This label meets these criteria perfectly, convincing the drinker with its elegance and magnificent olfactory progression. The "Basarin" Barbaresco di Adriano, comes from Nebbiolo grapes grown in one of the most geographically suitable areas. The work in the vineyard has been carried out since the 1990s and is still carried out by members of the family, first the grandfather, then the brothers Marco and Vittorio - now at the head of the winery - and the future through their children, first of all Michela, young and already well integrated into this flourishing family project. In the cellar, the grapes are carefully crushed and vinified in temperature-controlled steel tanks until racking. Maturation will take place for a year in steel and for another year in Slavonian oak barrels of 30 to 50 hectoliters. The dress : The nose: The broad and varied bouquet, with marked floral notes of violet and rosehip, reveals evolving notes of liquorice, jam and mint. On the palate: On the palate it enters firm and vertical, dry and warm, supported by soft tannin and a magnetic sip.
