Our fresh Red Birds Eye Chilli comes to you from Rwanda. Perfect for Thai and oriental cuisines, it packs a punch with heaps of flavour. A feisty chilli pepper, grown in the sub-Saharan African climate tests at 100,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU) putting it at the milder end of hot the heat table. Typically found thinly sliced in Thai curries and Chinese dishes and works as an excellent garnish for salads. It's also great for cocktails. These fresh chillies are also great for providing heat to chilli sauces and in particular, are often used in sweet chilli sauce.
