Organic Throumba Greek Olives

Greek, organic, hand-picked olives. They are packaged in a protective atmosphere and without pasteurization, which preserves their original flavors and characteristics. These olives are harvested ripe on the tree in winter, which gives them this wrinkled appearance and which allows them to be one of the only varieties that can be consumed on the tree (due to a natural fermentation which is triggered by the fall and rid it of its bitterness). The olive has a slightly bitter taste with very tender flesh, characteristic of ripe olives. This variety is particularly rich in antioxidants and oleuropein.
