The Sylt wild rose "Rosa Rugosa" has such an incomparably delicious rose aroma that Johannes King had to name a fruit spread after it. Kings Rosa Rugosa rose spread is a real Sylt original and a favorite product of the star chef. The Sylt wild roses grow directly on the dyke, far away from cars and exhaust fumes. They bloom in bright pink to violet from the end of May to mid-June. When preparing the rose petals for King's rose jam, the beautiful color is retained. A fresh yeast plait, warm rolls or delicious croissants - the delicate cherry rose aroma sweetens the morning. The lovely scent of rose petals melts in your mouth and doesn't taste a bit perfumed. But this specialty also goes perfectly with goat's or cream cheese and hearty meat dishes, such as partridge!
