Sylt rose sugar, test tube

The flavored sugar is made from the petals of the Sylt dog rose "Rosa Rugosa". These are gently dried, finely ground and mixed with granulated sugar. Kings Sylter rose sugar is ideal for refining quark, cream and dough for sweet baked goods. The flavored sugar can also be sprinkled over a freshly baked waffle or over warm pancakes. Then put a dollop of cream on top and you have a terrific dessert or a sweet temptation in the afternoon.
