Forty Four Liqueur

Liqueur Quarante Quatre: Its name comes from the fact that the number 44 comes up many times in the recipe. Orange and coffee based liqueur. A surprising combination, but one that goes very well with the taste of orange at the top and that of coffee which remains on the palate afterwards. Best consumed as a digestif or in kir with 4 to 5 volumes of sparkling white wine. Goes well with desserts like a pancake for example.
