CHATEAU MALIJAY OPUS

A word from the winemaker, Aude Deltin: Sustained garnet color, deep and delicate nose combining black fruits and spicy notes. Beautiful structure, balanced on the palate, tight and well wrapped. Fermentation and maceration in concrete vats for 21 days with racking and pumping over to ensure good extraction of color and tannins. Following malolactic fermentation, aging in stainless steel vats for 8 months on fine lees. Vine growing and winemaking have been present at Château Malijay since 1562. Located in the heart of the southern Côtes du Rhône, 7km from Orange, the Malijay estate is located in the Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages appellations Map de Dieu and adjoins the most famous appellations of the region such as Vacqueyras, Gigondas or Châteauneuf du Pape.
