Domaine Palon Gigondas

IN A FEW WORDS ... This wine has a pretty garnet colour, limpid with brilliant reflections. The nose is rich and expressive, with notes of ripe red fruits, cherry, plum, mixed with spices, liquorice, pepper, and notes of garrigue. The palate is very elegant, with fine and coated tannins, a balanced mid-palate, both fresh and fat, and a lingering finish, still on spices, on blackberry jam, with some cocoa notes. . Located in the town of Gigondas, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Palon estate is a little gem that extends over 11.5 hectares and covers two flagship appellations of the southern valley of the Côtes du Rhône: AOC Gigondas and AOC Vacqueyras .
