Red Wine Languedoc Vintage 2020 "Les darons" means "the fathers": a cuvée which is intended to be representative of western Languedoc, the southernmost French vineyard in France, based mainly on Grenache (at the origin of the Languedoc appellations). grape varieties 75% Grenache / 5% Carignan / 20% Syrah Origin France / Languedoc Colour, nose & mouth Sustained red with purplish reflections. A nose of "fruit yoghurt" notes, with fruit aeration (blueberry, plum and blackberry) and spices (cinnamon, white pepper). The palate combines fullness and tension with a dense and silky substance. Ripe tannins that pass on their own thanks to the fruit and freshness. Powerful, full-bodied, tasty finish with spices to spare. Resinous menthol notes.
