A key product for the preparation of emblematic dishes, achiote paste (or Roucou) is ideal for giving color and a unique taste to your dishes. It is used in cooking to prepare sauces and marinate meats in the Mexican style, particularly for cochinita pibil. It is also used as a much cheaper food coloring than saffron. Ingredients: Water, corn flour, annatto seeds, iodized salt, garlic extract, spices, acetic acid and sodium benzoate.
