Moroccan Ras el Hanout is a traditional spice blend originating from Morocco.

Its name literally means "head of the grocery store" or "the best of the grocery store", which reflects the complexity and richness of this aromatic blend.   Our MOROCCAN RAS EL HANOUT blend is prepared from a combination of numerous spices, carefully selected and blended with precision.

The proportions of spices can vary depending on regions and cooks' preferences, resulting in different variations of Moroccan Ras el Hanout.   Also nicknamed “Moroccan curry”, it is a powerfully aromatic mixture, not very spicy, hot and sweet which enhances dishes with sauce and enhances the taste of white fish and shellfish.

Very pleasant in sweet/salty combinations.   Ras el Hanout originates from Morocco.

It is deeply rooted in Moroccan cuisine and culture.

Its name in Arabic literally means "head of the grocery store" or "the best of the grocery store", emphasizing its status as a premium spice blend.   In Morocco, Ras el Hanout is considered a prestigious and precious spice blend.

It is prepared by traditional grocers, called "maâlems", who are experts in the art of mixing spices. The mixture of all these spices creates a complex and fragrant Ras el Hanout, with earthy, warm, slightly sweet and slightly spicy notes.

It is often used to flavor and season Moroccan dishes such as couscous, tagines, grilled meats and stews.

Ras el Hanout is appreciated for its versatility and its characteristic taste which adds an exotic dimension to dishes.
