Ras el hanout

Ras El Hanout is a blend of spices from the Maghreb, it is mainly used to flavor couscous or tagine. You can also use Ras El Hanout as a condiment. Personally, I often flavor steamed vegetables when I find them a little bland, to spice up a turnip, a potato, a carrot or even a fennel. Steam cooking is very healthy for cooking food without using fat, but in terms of taste, it can sometimes be perceived as tasteless, so it's time to take out the Ras El Hanout to enhance your vegetables.
