Type 00 soft wheat flour, for soft cakes, croissants, donuts, leavened cakes and long-maturing doughs (24/48 hours) Margherita cake Ingredients for a 24/26cm mold: - 300g Sweet flour - 200g of sugar - 300g of butter - 6 eggs - 1 teaspoon of yeast for desserts/baking - half a teaspoon of salt - icing sugar for garnish Mix the sugar with the eggs for at least 10 minutes, until the mixture is light and frothy. Add the melted butter, then the flour, salt, baking powder, until the mixture is smooth. Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan. Bake at 180° for about 50 minutes. Add flavorings, rum, grated peel of a lemon or an orange to taste.
