Lentils, foods from the legume family, are dried seeds from pod plants. Cooked in soup, mashed potatoes or dahl (Indian speciality), they will bring a touch of color and exoticism to your plate! Ideal in salads, this duo of lentils holds up very well when cooked. To vary your diet, accompany them with cereals, an ideal vegetable alternative!
