WHITE KUZU (750 gr)

Kuzu is a starch extracted naturally from one of the strongest plants in the mountains of Japan. It has a smooth texture and neutral taste and is used to thicken soups, bind juices and sauces and give body to desserts. It is also used medicinally in the form of a drink to relieve intestinal disorders. Excellent for treating digestive problems: in 1l of water, pour 50ml of shoyou and an umebosi plum. Let boil for 10 minutes. Dissolve 30gr of kuzu in 1 cup of cold water and pour into the umebosi broth. The mixture quickly becomes transparent, remove from heat and absorb hot. Very good also for cold days.
