Oviraptor, whose name means "egg thief," was a small bipedal dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous period. It is assumed to be a carnivore and fond of eggs, which it must have broken with its toothless beak. This alert-looking dinosaur measured about 2.50 m and had a long crest on top of its head. Its large eye sockets suggest keen eyesight and great liveliness. It appears that his body was completely covered in feathers.
