Onion and Ale Chutney

Made with our award-winning Cotswold Ale, this chutney includes a rich blend of onions, figs, fresh apples, and a spice mix to create the perfect balance of sweet & spicy. This is the perfect accompaniment to pies, terrines & cheeses. Our Onion & Ale Chutney uses a method of soaking the apples, figs, and the mix of dried fruit in our award-winning Cotswold Pig Ale. We then mix the drained fruit from the beer with the rest of the ingredients and reduce until the beer is added. We recommend pairing this sweet & spicy chutney with cheeses and meats and use as a dipping sauce.
