Permaculture mission

“Ethical design approach aimed at designing sustainable human ecosystems inspired by nature”, permaculture deserves to be known from an early age. Because, beyond this definition – which seems somewhat complicated for an 8-year-old child! –, it applies to all areas of daily life, as Guizou and Claire Le Gal demonstrate brilliantly. After a few pages of very simple explanations to understand what permaculture is and its main principles, the book is structured around essential actions: gardening, eating, drinking, dressing, moving, but also playing, cooperating , communicate or take care of yourself. All of these topics first give rise to the observation of how nature teaches us. Then the authors give examples so that these observations can be easily transformed into concrete achievements: growing lentil sprouts, collecting water to water your plants, organizing a barter party, creating a talking circle with your friends, etc. While the practice of permaculture has exploded in recent years, this fun little manual offers children a first initiation.
