Ulrika and Fredrik were fed up with their busy office life in the big city when they decided in 2015 to become bean-to-bar chocolate makers in Österlen, Sweden. Your unique chocolate is made without adding cocoa butter, flavors, vanilla or lecithin. They get their cocoa from fermentation masters who work with small farms, e.g. Kokoa Kamili in Tanzania, Ucayali River Cacao in Peru and Öko Caribe in the Dominican Republic. The Swedish Cacao Company deliberately does not certify their soy- and gluten-free chocolate through third-party organizations as they take their responsibility as producers seriously and firmly believe in transparency and accountability as key factors for a truly sustainable and fair world.
