Product Description For an inspiring and original interior decoration, contemplate the Herbarium, let go and let your emotions speak. Paris 2024 Olympic Games Eiffel Tower in a bottle. The hydrangea macrophylla, Hydrangea in Latin, is a great classic of shade gardens. Originally from Japan, it grows near the coast, in a mild and temperate zone, which explains why the Breton climate suits it so well. A historical vagueness still hangs today over the origin of the flag. However, what is certain is that the “blue white red” flag was imposed in July 1789 to mark the political transition from the monarchy to the sovereign nation. It was first broadcast in the capital, then in the provinces. Before being a flag, the tricolor was used in the form of ribbons, banners, cockades, etc. It is a mix between the neoclassical fashion of the end of the 18th century and the effervescence of political ideas of the 19th century. As for its graphic choice, the tricolor in the form of bands became widespread in the summer of 1789 and which reached its peak on Federation Day on July 14, 1790. Then, in October 1790, the principle of three tricolor bands of equal width was fixed, and in February 1794, the definitive order became: blue, white, red. Finding the ideal location for your Herbarium will be child's play. At its simplest, look for where the light exposure will be strong to make the liquid around it shine, on dark furniture to bring out the magnificent shades of the leaves. Enhance your interior with soothing, natural and bright ambiances, for a decoration that suits you. Plant info Hydrangea macrophylla is an essential shrub for shady corners, with long-lasting flowering. Hydrangea macrophylla is the best known and most cultivated species of hydrangea. Hydrangea macrophylla, the hydrangea, belongs to the Hydrangeaceae family, the original species is a coastal species from Japan. If Hydrangea macrophylla is the one that can be described as our grandmothers' hydrangea, many current cultivars have largely renewed the range of flowers, bringing new colors and new textures, and therefore a renewal in the interest of gardeners for this species. Hydrangea macrophylla appears in the form of a regularly branched shrub with a rounded shape. Its deciduous leaves are opposite, entire, large, with a crenate edge. The inflorescences develop on the previous year's wood in large rounded flower heads. These flower balls theoretically include fertile flowers in the center and sterile on the outside. However, in the hydrangea macrophylla, following a mutation, all the flowers have become sterile, and show 4 sepals in the shape of petals: the flower balls are very round, very numerous on a subject in good conditions. Generally blue or pink, for the most common varieties, the color of the hydrangea flower is directly linked to the presence of alumina associated with the acidity of the soil. The acidity of the soil allows the hydrangea to absorb the alumina salts which make it blue. In very acidic soil, the flowers are blue, in moderately acidic soil, the flowers are purple, and in neutral soil, they turn pink. It is perfectly possible that a hydrangea purchased blue will give rise to pink balls in your garden. Immersed, as if in weightlessness, in its preservation liquid and presented in an elegant bottle, it invites contemplation and letting go, to provide you with serenity and calm. Decorating tips A practical and inexpensive way to decorate your interior! The Herbarium Tour Eiffel Bleu Blanc Rouge is a tribute to Paris and an opportunity to celebrate the 2024 Olympic Games. White, red and blue were, at the time, the colors of the uniforms of the Paris National Guard, just as red and blue were the colors of the City of Lights. On the other hand, this colorful range corresponds to the neoclassical trend of the time highlighting bands on dresses, men's vests, as well as on wallpaper, on architecture, on decorations... Concretely, the choice of colors has no real meaning. Over time, a lovely legend has been built saying that blue, white and red represent the union of the king and the people, of the French among themselves and summarizes the long history of the emblems of France. Pure, soothing, natural and innovative creations, these herbariums in vials can be placed in the kitchen, on a shelf as well as in your living room, a bedroom or even in the bathroom... Without the need for direct sunlight and without maintenance, Théophile's Herbarium brings a touch of greenery and softness to your interior decoration. Highlighted by the light of a lamp, a mirror, or other decorative objects, these bottled plants fit anywhere whatever the room chosen and the style of your decoration. The bottles complement each other and mix as you wish. Customer benefits If you have difficulty with gardening, or you don't have the time to take care of it, Théophile's Herbarium is the solution!
