- Ideal for grills, griddles, etc. - Temperature range -49.9 to 299.9°C. - Light, compact and easy to use. - Collapsible stainless steel probe. - Instruction manual - Certificate of conformity The Thermapen® Classic Surface Industrial Thermometer has all the advantages of the SuperFast Thermapen 3 coupled with a ribbon surface probe and is particularly useful for determining the temperature of hot plates or pipe temperatures etc. This Thermapen Classic industrial thermometer incorporates a large digital display with an accurate reading over the range of -49.9 to 299.9°C with a resolution of 0.1°C and an accuracy of ±0.4°C. The resolution can be switched to 1°C, if necessary, via a switch in the battery compartment. The thermometer will automatically shut off after ten minutes, maximizing battery life, this feature can be disabled if not required. Low battery (icon) and open circuit indication are also displayed, if present. Each Thermapen is powered by two lithium button cell batteries with a minimum life of 1500 hours. The thermometer probe conveniently folds 180° to the side of the instrument when not in use. The housing is washable and includes the Biomaster additive which reduces bacteria growth and the ergonomic rubber seal minimizes the risk of water, dust or food ingress. Please note that with the Thermapen Tape Surface Probe, accuracy and speed of response will depend on flat surface and use of heat transfer compound.
