The history of Comptoir & Co begins in 1971, when the Société Internationale de Transaction undertakes a new activity: the import of tropical fruits and vegetables. During its many travels, the pioneering company became interested in other foodstuffs: spices. It is even she who would have discovered the pink peppercorn of Reunion, and would have imported it in France.
The activity accelerated in the 2000s when, passionate about travel and discovery, the Comptoir & Co experts traveled the continents in search of new, rare and quality spices. The links forged with local producers promote the emergence of new ranges and new flavors.
Established in France, our team has turned its passion into a profession, which we share with our customers on a daily basis.
