Founded in 1930 in Puyméras in Provence by Marcel Plantin, Maison Plantin has established itself as a French reference in the world of truffles. Initially a supplier to the finest restaurants, it has developed a unique expertise in the selection, preparation and preservation of the most prestigious truffles: black truffle from Périgord, white truffle from Alba, summer truffle and Burgundy truffle.
Under the leadership of Hervé Poron, then Christopher Poron and Nicolas Rouhier, the company has taken on an international dimension while remaining true to its artisanal roots.
Over time, Plantin has expanded its expertise to include high-end dried mushrooms (morels, ceps, chanterelles, black trumpets, etc.) and created a gourmet collection of truffle delicacies and condiments: oils, spreads, honeys, salts and sauces.
Since 2019, Maison Plantin has also been welcoming individuals to its shop and its Truffle Institute, a place for sharing and discovery dedicated to the world of truffles.
