Maison Hurel is above all a story of passion and indulgence born in Châteaubriant, in the heart of Loire-Atlantique. It all began in a small kitchen, when Valentin Hurel, a young craftsman inspired by his cousin, the Michelin-starred chef Jacques Thorel, developed a secret recipe for salted butter caramel. Very quickly, his first creations seduced the most demanding palates.
From this passion was born Maison Hurel, a 100% French artisanal company that produces caramel and chocolate spreads renowned for their unique taste and creamy texture. Today, the brand also offers gourmet baskets made up of local products carefully selected from committed producers: brewers, winemakers, cider makers and farmers.
