At Les Mirliflores, each biscuit tells a story.
Founded by Elisa and Gwenaëlle, two passionate former historians, our artisanal biscuit factory brings back to life the forgotten flavors of French culinary heritage. After extensive research in ancient manuscripts, we have found authentic recipes dating from the Middle Ages to the First World War. Each biscuit comes with a booklet telling its origin.
We manufacture all our products by hand in our workshop in Tarn. Each biscuit is shaped, cut and packaged by hand, with the greatest care. We select quality ingredients, sourced as much as possible from local producers. For raw materials that we cannot find in France, such as tea, cocoa or certain spices, we use committed and traceable suppliers.
In addition to our historic range, we have developed a more open-ended sweet and savory signature range, inspired by our terroir and our creativity, with bold combinations such as sesame and fleur de sel or Gaillac red wine shortbread. Finally, our range of historic drinks revisits the flavors of yesteryear through spiced drinking cocoas and flavored teas inspired by ancient recipes.
