WHO ARE ARTHUR AND MARGUERITE?

It is to my two ancestors, Arthur and Marguerite, my “roots” that I wanted to pay homage by naming our brand with their two first names.

Two strong personalities who have passed on to us delicious recipes from their region and, above all, their values of courage, integrity, rigor and authenticity... which we apply in our biscuit business.


WE ARE ARTISANS

Our biscuit factory is artisanal, family-run, and independent. This allows us to remain free to defend our commitments and our values. We are artisans and we produce in small series.

Mechanical equipment supports human hands, not the other way around.

To satisfy our customers' sweet tooth, the team draws inspiration from traditional recipes from our French gastronomic heritage and interprets them using its constantly perfected biscuit-making expertise.


OUR ROOTS, OUR TERROIR, AND FRENCH AGRICULTURAL SECTORS

Raw materials are carefully selected. We source our supplies as close as possible to our biscuit factory, favoring sectors whose agricultural practices respect our natural environment.

French agriculture provides us with the majority of the ingredients that go into the composition of our biscuits.

The wheat and buckwheat in our flours are grown in our region in Burgundy. Our butter and cheeses come from cooperatives located in Franche-Comté. Our flower honey is French. Our aromatic herbs, sunflower and poppy seeds, tomatoes, onions, etc. are grown in France.

The only exception is sugar, as we have chosen to use cane sugar, which is more natural and less refined than beet sugar.Just like exotic ingredients (chocolate, spices, etc.), we buy it from cooperatives practicing Fair Trade.
