As a child, returning from school, Emmanuel was already making shortbread with his father in the family bakery.
Established and assisted by Clarisse since 1994 in the city center of Le Mans as an artisan baker, pastry chef, confectioner, and chocolatier, he chose to diversify and expand his product range by developing a biscuit shop under the name "Gourmandises du Maine."

Emmanuel embraces craftsmanship and "homemade" cooking. He uses local, high-quality raw materials (eggs from Loué, local flour, AOP Echiré butter) and he passes on his know-how by promoting apprenticeships.
