The story of the Maison “Le Père Craquant” began in 1924 in the heart of the Drôme Provençale in the village of Saillans, where crackers have been made since the dawn of time. In love with his region, Jean Eynard, the pastry chef from the village of Saillans works with ancestral recipes and specializes in the manufacture of crunchy or croquettes which will earn him the nickname of “Father Craquant”. Almost a century later, it is in the family that the tradition is perpetuated with panache and love. Daphné secretly preserves the recipes of yesteryear, but enriches the range of daring blends by selecting the best of Provence.
