From “Cetara” in southern Italy on the Amalfi coast, to Port-St-Louis-du-Rhône, among the Ferrignos, we have been fishermen from father to son for 3 generations. That is to say, if the Mediterranean is flowing in their veins!
Today, Dominique Ferrigno is the torchbearer, with the beautifully singing accent of this family saga. And not only, Dominique is now the builder, making Ferrigno a cutting-edge cannery, the last on the Euro-Mediterranean coast.
Located in Provence, in Port-St-Louis-du-Rhône, halfway between Marseille and Sète, the creation-cannery of sardines Ferrigno is IFS approved. It allows all the fish to be worked on site in the best possible conditions with a permanent concern for quality: from their reception to their packaging, including their processing in its approved workshops.
Since 1998, Ferrigno has also been preparing ready-made meals such as fish soup, the famous bouillabaisse, tuna stew, and tasty rouille. The late Joël Robuchon, master chef from France, has also selected fish soup and bouillabaisse for the Reflets de France brand.
In 2010, the "Les Belles de Marseille" range was born, then in 2016 "La Bonne Mer" still in the same line, good, fresh from the sea ... made in Provence.
The taste for authenticity is more than a slogan, at the Ferrignos it's a real passion for fish!
